Salam friends, ever since the Controlled Movement Order started I have been on the Tik Tok App A LOT. And for a while, I was enjoying all the outfit ideas on Fashion Tik Tok. Since we have been staying at home, I felt like I miss dressing up.
Along the quarantine, I was inspired to create an outfit that could fit the Shari'ah. Here's the catch, everything is inspired by anime characters!
Anime that was chosen is..... SAILOR MOON!!!
First outfit:
I obviously tried my best to match Sailor Moon's outfit but I didnt have a wide, flowy black skirt. Thus, I opted for this pair of wide pants I got from Uniqlo.
The pants are actually ankle length so it would only be right to match them with my ankle-length boots. I think my black ones are the best for this colour combination.
I also did not have that many of pink tops so this was the only one that I think could be the closest to an alternative.
Lastly, I had to follow her hair colour for hijab reference thus the light brown hijab.
Would I wear this? Definitely. Except, the top would not be tucked in.
If only I had more jackets but Malaysia is a tropical country so wearing jacket everyday is truly a privilege. I am naturally a sweaty person so I do not own that much. This is the only blue jacket I have which is the closest to Sailor Moon's and it wasn't even mine originally.
Again, I replaced the skirt with wide pants. Sadly, I still had to wear some layers underneath because these white bottoms are still somewhat see-through ._.
You do not actually see it but I'm wearing my blue pumps. It's like 3 inches high! I wish I had more flats too.
Overall, I'm actually happy with how this turned out. But, I don't think I'll wear it to actual events.
Third outfit:
I had HUGE expectations for this one but I wasn't entirely happy with how it turned out. I didn't have white shoes at the time and only owned this pair of boots.
I got this pink outerwear (jumpsuit) from Uniqlo and I like how it was baggy and comfortable.
Sadly, I do not think I would wear this outside because I would prefer my back-side is covered by something. So, I would probably add like a jacket tied to my waist so that it would cover my back.
That is all for this post! I hope you can get inspired to dress-up while still adhering to the Shari'ah <3
Till next time :)
